Ill UOI >0919 U Idfr. I VJUU IIIQUO the earth and he saw that it was good (vs. 25). Sin and sickness were not a part of this earth until Adam fell and disobeyed God. (Eve was actually the one who was deceived, but Adam ate also of the forbidden fruit).
Adam had dominion over the earth because God gave him dominion, when He formed him. When Adam fell he gave his dominion or authority to Satan, the one who tricked Eve. 2 Corinthians 4:4, Paul calls Satan the god of this world. (Donl be afraid to talk about Satan, he is your enemy and he will destroy you if you let him). When he became the god of this world (notice, he is not God but he is the god of this world) he brought sin and sickness with him. Jesus said in John 10:10 that Satan was a theif and comes to kill, steal and destroy, but Jesus came to give us life more abundantly!
Acts 10:38 says God anointed Jesus and He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil. God sent His son to redeem us all from the curse of sin, sickness and poverty.
When Adam transgressed man became spiritually dead, but now we can be spiritually alive by accepting all Jesus has done for us.
1 John 3:8 says. He that commits sin is of the devil for the devil sinned from the beginning. But Jesus was manifested so He could destroy the works of the devil. If you are not a child of God, ask Jesus in your heart, confess Him as your saviour, He will give you a new life, He will restore your health and give you peace.
