Mayor Newbill Miller and
all six of the Washington Town Council members were returned to office for their third consecutive term as a group in Tuesday’s elections. Forty of the eligible 131 registered voters in the town turned out to vote in the uncontested races.
Nancy Virginia Ellis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy D. Ellis of Castleton, has been accepted for the 1982 fall class of nursing at James Madison University in Harrisonburg. Miss Ellis is a 1980 graduate of Rappahannock County High School.
