Wildflower week
in Shenandoah
National Park
Shenandoah National Park has designated May 10 through 16 as Spring Wildflower Week and will be offering special programs and activities for the public during this period. Ranger conducted motorcades, guided walks, and evening programs featuring the Park’s spring wildflowers will be offered throughout the week, Park-wide.
Photographic exhibits of spring wildflowers by photographer Richard Wiegrand will also be on display at both Park visitor centers.
Park Superintendent Ronald Wrye invites all Park visitors “to come celebrate the Park’s spring wildflower beauties before they disappear,” not returning until next year.
