People made their way to the fortune teller and tattoo artist as they munched on hot dogs, pizza, drinks and baked goods. One student departed from the fortune teller’s tent astounded.

“She was right! She said I was

smart - and I am!”

The day’s activities ended with the awarding of the $300 grand prize. Students sold tickets for two weeks as a kick-off campaign for the fair. The money collected will be used in next year’s PTA budget.

Jim Buckholtz of Huntly won $300, Bill Maddox of Centreville won $100 and Teresa Layton of Washington won $50. These lucky names were chosen from more than 2,100 entries.
