Kindergartener Amy Buckholtz received the $25 award for selling the most contest tickets during the
campaign. She sold 101 tickets. She is the daughter of Jim and Nancy Buckholtz of Huntly. Nancy Buckholtz was present to receive her husband’s grand prize and assist her daughter in accepting the highest salesman award. “We’re definitely going out to dinner tonight!” she exclaimed.
Co-chairpersons Linda Mallory and Mary Jane Swift thanked the dedicated parents who donated baked goods, money and time toward the Fun Fair.
Since this was the first year for a Spring Fun Fair Mrs. Mallory and Mrs. Swift organized and planned the entire agenda.
The success of this year’s fair insured plans for it to become an annual event at RCES. “Next year we’ll be looking for more volunteers to donate food, manage games, and give their time,” said Mrs. Mallory. “Because we’re planning to have a bigger and better fair next year!”
