Not only stores and big businesses but everyone, everywhere, at times has to sell themselves. This is a business reality that troubles many artists. The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community is providing relief Friday, May 15, when it presents Michelle Hartz, a marketing and public relations expert.
Ms. Hartz will discuss working with the media, publicizing shows, events and businesses, creating special events, preparing promotional materials, and reaching customers.
Along with the “how-to’s” there will be handouts: a PR kit, sample ideas, and a list of media contacts.
