In memory of Bertie Atkins for Mother's Day. My Darling Mom, this will be your third Mother's Day in your new home up above. I miss you so very much, but I'll bet ft's really wonderful seeing Jesus everyday.
You were the mother of ten children, and may I add, one of the most fovirtg, understanding, patient mothers that God ever sent to this earth. I've heard you say so many times, ‘My kids are all I live for." Well Mom, I really believe that was true. For the love you had for us was a true and everlasting love. And even though you’ve been gone for a long time now, your love is still here, warming our hearts and guiding us each day. Thank you, Mom for taking the responsibility of motherhood so seriously. Thank you for always being there when we needed you. Thank you for the comfort and support you gave us, always at the right time. Thank you for always knowing just what to say. Thank you for the love you had for us all. And most of all, thank you, God for giving us such a truly special person to call Mom.
