Jaycees schedule radio auction

The Warrenton-Fauquier Jaycees will hold their annual Radio Auction on March 26 to raise funds for community projects such as the annual scholarship fund, the Fauquier County Special Olympics, Shooters Education and various other community programs. Country Gentlemen in concert

The area’s premier country band, the Country Gentlemen will appear at the Gay Street Theater in Washington April 29 at 7 p.m. Preparing for what is certain to be a sellout crowd, the concert’s organizers are offering advance tickets at the following locations: Village Cafe, Faith Mountain Company, Picture This in Warrenton, Royal Oak Bookshop in Front Royal, and Culpeper Music Center in Culpeper. Ticket prices are $6 for RAAC members, $7.50 for others in advance, and $8.50 at the door.

Dinner to benefit CCLC

On Saturday, March 26, at 6 p.m. dinner will be served in six Rappahannock homes for the benefit of CCLC. Cocktails will start at 6 p.m. at the Center on Rt. 211. From there everyone will be assigned a home for a wonderful dinner. “Do come and meet new friends and enjoy an evening in Rappahannock County," said an organizer. Reservations are $35. Monday Alternative postponed

The Rappahannock County Library’s Monday Night Alternative for March has been postponed until May 23. William Dietel will speak on “Making a Difference: Reflections on Philanthropy, Rockefellers and Rappahannock.” On April 25, Sally Nash will present a program on The Creative Process. In May, Roger Kennedy will speak on The Smithsonian Institutions.
