EMT refresher class
at Fauquier Hospital
An EMT-A Refresher class will be conducted at Fauquier Hospital in May and June. Class dates are May 2, 5, 7, 16, 19 and 21 and June 2 and 4. The state examination will be given June 7. Annual geranium sale
Orange Cooperative Pre-school is having its annual geranium sale, offering geraniums in red, white, pink and salmon in four-inch pots. They are priced at $15 a dozen (12 plants) or $1.25 each. Plants will be available at the school the last week in April. Orders can be placed during March and April at Orange Cooperative Pre-school, Bell View Avenue on Newton Street, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9 to 12 or by calling 672-4755 or after 6 and weekends 672-5979.
Extension events planned
Culpeper Open Hcmse and Beef Judging Workshop, Friday, April 1, at the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This will be an outstanding educational program for beef producers and especially for 4-H and FFA members and volunteer leaders as well as professional workers. Pre-registration is due by March 25. Call the Extension Office at 675-3619 for details.
Beginners Shearing Schools: April 26-27, Steeles Tavern; April 29, Glade Spring. The pre-registration fee is $10, and the deadline is April 4. Call the Extension Office for a pre-registration form.
Fanners Market Registration is open for the two Prince William County Farmers Markets.
