In April, 1987, the CMH Foundation announced the Campaign for CMH to raise funds for the planned imi provements in the hospital.
Under the fine leadership of Giles H. Miller, Jr., of Culpeper, the campaign surpassed its goal by 24% and raised $1,245,000.
This strong response to the hospital’s request shows the continuing involvement in the life of CMH by the community who founded it twenty-eight years ago. This living link is formed by the individuals and corporations who generously contribute to the Foundation and by the volunteers who serve as board and auxiliary members.
The help of our friends is essential to maintaining high quality health care in Culpeper. Providing excellent patient care and modern technology takes substantial funding; and since revenue from patient fees does not fully cover the costs of capital equipment or providing hospital services to patients, gifts and donations are increasingly important to CMH.
The CMH Foundation has information on many ways of supporting the work of Culpeper Memorial Hospital. We are happy to talk with you about the best way for you to make a tax-wise gift. Please call Charlotte C. Cannon, executive director, at 829-4397.
