Consumerama Club forms
The 4-H Consumerama Club is getting ready to start working on becoming good consumers once again. They will be discovering ways to select blue jeans, suntan lotion, pizza and banking accounts. Teams will be formed in both the Junior and Senior categories. Previous 4-H enrollment is not required. If you would like to learn more about the fun things this group is doing, call Mrs. Lucy Oliver at 987-8307 or the Extension Office at 675-3619.
EMT course to be offered
An Emergency Medical Technician course will be starting Feb. 6 and run until May 15 on Mondays and Thursdays at 7 p.m" Classes will be held at the 1 lint Hill Volunteer Fire Department. Pre-registration is required. Call Ken Pullen at 675-3091 to register or for further information.
Airbrush demonstration
Middle Street Gallery is sponsoring a free airbrush demonstration by commercial artist Steve Wagner, Thursday, Feb. 9, (Please note change from Jan. 26) at 8 p.m. Wagner’s illustrations have appeared in The Washington Post and numerous international publications. The demonstration will take place at Sycamore Hill, the Wagner residence just east of Washington on Route 211. It is free of charge and open to the public. Call 675-3267 for information.

Masonic Lodge .78 to meet
