TOWN OF WASHINGTON, VIRGINIA
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Town of Washington will hold a public hearing on February 8, 1989 at 8:00 p.m. in the Courtroom at the Rappahannock County Court House in Washington, Virginia to solicit public input on local community development and housing needs in relation to community development block grant funding for a project in our community.
Information on the amount of funding available, the requirements on benefit to low and moderate income persons, eligible activities, and plans to minimize displacement and provide displacement assistance as necessary will be available. Citizens also are given the opportunity to comment on the Town of Washington's past use of CDBG funds, if applicable.
The Town of Washington intends to apply for CDBG funds in partial support of its project to repair and upgrade the Town of Washington water system.
