The Rappahannock County Planning Commission approved two temporary permits for mobile homes and forwarded them to the Board of Zoning Appeals for consideration at its April 26 meeting.
The planners also approved a Special Exception request for a 10-acre subdivision in an Agricultural zone and the application for renewal of the Jenkins Mountain Agricultural and Forestal District and forwarded those applications to the Board of Supervisors for public hearings May 1.
The first mobile home application was from Roger Newcamp Jr. to use the trailer for up to one year on his property while he is building a home. The trailer is to be moved from his parents’ property where they used it while they were building their home. “You’re making good use of the trailer,” commented Wakefield representative Werner Krebser.
The second trailer application was from the United States Postal Service, for the temporary post office at Huntly.
