REQUEST FOR BIOS

The County of Rappahannock is seeking proposals for bush-hogging, grass cutting services at the County's sanitary landfill facility, located at the end of State Route 639 in Amissville.

Consisting of 5-7 acres of area requiring cutting, the County is interested in proposals to include all labor and materials for accomplishing the cutting on a per job basis, which in no case shall be less than three (3) times annually. Submissions demonstrating a per job decrease in cost if the frequency of cutting were increased beyond three times per year shall also be considered.

Interested parties are invited to visit the facility from 7:30-3:30 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday, in order to evaluate the area involved under this proposal. All bids should be submitted to the County Administrator's Office, at the corner of Porter and Main Streets (or mailed to P.O. Drawer 519, Washington, VA, 22747), by Monday, May 1, at 12:00 p.m. The procedures for Competitive Sealed Bidding as outlined in the Virginia Public Procurement Act shall apply.
