The community meeting is being held prior to the Board of Supervisors’ special public hearing on the zoning amendment proposals on May 23.
Sunday, April 30, will be a busy day, beginning with the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department’s allyou-can-eat breakfast from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Cost is $4 for adults and $2 for children under 12.
It will include sausage, eggs, potatoes, hot cakes, juice and coffee. Bring the whole family and come out and support the Department during this fund-raising project, while you enjoy a delicious meal and fellowship with friends and neighbors.
The Fire Department’s monthly meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m.
Also on Sunday, Culpeper’s Walk-a-Thon for March of Dimes will begin a ten-mile walk beginning at the Central Fidelty Bank in the Southgate Shopping Center. Registration begins at noon; walk starting at 1 p.m. For more details call Edmunds at 829-2301.
