Jefferson District supervisor Brad Rosenberger will host a meeting on proposed Culpeper County zoning amendments on Monday, May 8 at 7 p.m. at the Jeffersonton Community Center at Rts. 621 and 802,

It will be an opportunity for residents to express their opinions and concerns, as well as receive answers to any questions they have relating to the proposed changes. Residents may call the Zoning Department at 825-0355 to determine whether changes in their property zoning is proposed. Have your tax map and parcel number available when calling (see your tax bill or tax assessment notice).

Culpeper Planning Director Chris Mothersead will discuss proposals which seek to lower density in agricultural-zoned areas from one dwelling per two acres to one per five acres on A-l zoned properties and from one dwelling per acre to one per three acres in A-2 zoned areas.

The Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center has announced the schedule for its’ 1989 pool season which will begin on Saturday, May 27.

The pool will be open for the Memorial Day Weekend, and then daily beginning Saturday, June 3 thru Labor Day, Monday, September 4. Hours are from noon until 6 p.m.
