William A. Curtis of Washington,
Va. has assumed a position with the Virginia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company as advisor in Rappahannock County. This position was formerly held by Ralph H. Rowzie of Amissville who recently retired. Mr. Curtis is a native of Rappahannock, and was graduated from Washington High School. He had been associated with and employed in the insurance business for 16 years prior to returning to Washington, Va. in 1966.

The Supervisors will meet
tonight (Thursday) for a “work session” on the county’s budget for fiscal year 1975. It is expected that the Supervisors will continue to discuss the school budget which was proposed to them at an informal work session with the School Board last week. The School Board proposed a total budget of $995,574. Rappahannock County is asked to provide $532,205 of this amount.
