'Dance Alive' at Town Hall

Dance Alive (formerly Dance Free) will be co-sponsored by the Golden Key on Saturday, May 13 at 8 p.m. at the Town Hall in Washington. Dance Alive was conceived 20 years ago in major U.S. cities in an effort to create a community sense in metropolitan areas. It also grew from a need to provide a comfortable, free space to dance in without the “hype” of a bar environment. Produced by D.C. musician Mark Sims, the evening is three hours of taped music from Swing to Sacle, from jazz to Joni Mitchell. Admission is $5, and please, no alcohol.
