All the winners, Mr. Foster added, have been Rappahannock County residents.
Cheri Woodard profiled ,
Faith Mountain Company's owner, Cheri Woodard, was profiled in the August issue of Working Woman magazine. The article notes that her business, which began in her home in Sperryville in 1977 with $14,000 in start-up money, will gross an estimated $2.75 million in sales this year. Her tip to budding entrepreneurs? "I'd work for a mail-order business first — learn the ropes from someone else's experience. I've had the equivalent of college and graduate school in mistakes."
