Stanley, four daughters, Sharon Lena Weakley of Sperryville and Marion Fay Breeden, Jean Ellen Gochenour and Shirley Christine Buracker, all of Luray; a brother, Curtis Jenkins of Timberville; five sisters, Nellie Woodward of Madison, Mamie Derring of Elkton and Pearl Emswiler, Lena Kline and Tress Homick all of Broadway; 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A funeral service was conducted July 26 at Antioch Independent Bible Church in Luary by the Rev. Frankie Painter. Burial was in the Thomas family cemetery on Tanners Ridge.
Lucy Fincham
Mrs. Lucy Ella Fincham, 81, of Alexandria, Va., died on Sunday, July 30 at Woodbine Nursing Home, Alexandria, Va.
She was a native of Rappahannock County and had lived in Alexandria, Va.
Survivors include three daughters, Aleese H. White of Alexandria, Va., Florence E. Hoffman of Culpeper, Frances Reardon of Stephen City, Va., four sons, Henry Ford Fincaham, Cleveland C. Fincham, and Herbert E. Fincham, all of Alexandria, Va., Stevenson D; Fincham of Herdon; 27 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Cora Campbelll of Etlan, Nellie Fox of Orange; and one brother, Clarence McFarland of Orange.
Her husband was the late Henry Clay Fincham.
Her parents were the late Charles and Susan McFarland.
A funeral service will be held at Clore Funeral Home chapel on Thursday, August 3, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Floyd Binns officiating.
Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Richard McFarland, James McFarland, Fred Fincham, Wilbur Fincham, “Buck” Fincham, Henry Weakley.
