The league’s All-Star game will be played on Saturday, Aug. 19 at Stuart Field in Amissville. It will be part of the season-ending family picnic for all the county’s Little League teams from all four leagues. The AllStar game begins at 10 a.m., followed by lunch and trophy presentations at noon. At 2 p.m. the RAA coaches and the Babe Ruth team will square off for a softball gamb. There will also be a Bambino Minor League All-Star contest.
Also planned for the picnic is the awarding of a Redskins jacket and autographed Redskins football. Tickets for the items are now on sale, and proceeds will benefit next year’s Little League program.
