Nellie Allsberry
> Mrs. Nellie Sandford Marlborough Allsberry, 74, of Strasburg, died Tuesday, July 25 in Winchester Medical Center.
Funeral services were held on Saturday at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill with the Rev. James Price officiating. Burial was in the Macedonia Cemetery.
Mrs. Allsberry was born May 4, 1915, in Washington, the daughter of the late Horace D. and Lila Williams Marlborough. She was a Girl Scout leader and an active member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, John Samuel Allsberry; one son Ray Anthony Allsberry of Lynchburg; two brothers George W. Adams of East Carnegie, Pa. and Odell Adams of Pittsburgh, Pa.; four sisters, Evelyn A. Smith and Magnolia Richardson, both of Bridgeville, Pa., Lavern Williams of Pittsburgh and Sherline Johnson of Washington, Pa. and one grandchild.
Stover Funeral Home in Strasburg was in charge of the arrangements.
