With respect to any proposed high voltage transmission lines, we are asking that the Virginia Legislature, the State Corporation Commission, and local governments require Virginia Power to comply with the following recommendations based on the real and potential social and environmental impacts of these lines. We are asking all readers of this letter to send a copy as an individual, as a petition, or as a representative of an organized group (e.g. civic association) to the President of Virginia Power, the Clerk of the State Corporation Commission, their local government representatives, and their State Delegates and Senators.
