The lawn of the histone Warren Green Hotel is a beautiful setting to hear a concert. People attending the concerts are encouraged to contribute towards cost of the evening. There is plenty of parking available, and downtown streets are closed to vehicular traffic during the concert. Local ordinance prohibits the use of alchol and the bringing of animals to the concerts.
Families are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chairs and a picnic if they like. Delicious homemade refreshments will often be available at intermission, prepared by local community organizations.
This performance is the seventh of a series of ten (10) Warren Green Concerts at the old Warren Green Hotel in Warrenton this summer. These concerts are presented as a community partnership by the Bluemont Concert Series in cooperation with the Town of Warrenton, the Fauquier County Parks and Recreation Department and the Virginia Commission for the Arts.
Concerts will be held outdoors whenever possible; the decision to move indoors due to weather is made at 5 p.m. on the day of the concert; information will be broadcast
