Mary E. Jenkins
Mary Elizabeth Jenkins, 66, of Woodville, died Sunday, July 30 at University Hospital, Charlottesville.
She was a native of Rappahannock County. Her parents were the late Jesse Jenkins and Daisy Margaret Jenkins.
Mrs. Jenkins was a member of Nethers Mill Lighthouse Tabernacle.
Survivors include her husband, Jesse “Jerry” Jenkins; one daughter, Marianne McPherson of Culpeper; two sons, James R. Jenkins of Woodville and Charles R. Jenkins of Sperryville; two sisters, Margaret Nichols of Culpeper and Annie Haynes of Gordonsville; two brothers, James L. Jenkins of Centreville and Jesse J. Jenkins of Culpeper; and four grandchildren.
A funeral service was held at Nethers Mill Lighthouse Tabernacle on Tuesday, Aug. 1, with burial in Sperryville Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Clinedinst officiating.
Rilla L. Broyles
Rilla Lena Broyles, 71, of Luray died Sunday morning, July 23 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.
Mrs. Broyles was born Oct. 11, 1917 in Page County and was a daughter of the late Walker and Leslie Cave Jenkins.
