Amber Welch celebrated her seventh birthday on Sunday, Sept. 9 it the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Steve Welch with a birthday party.
Her guests included her brother Nathan Welch, John and Frances Dennis of Madison, Ronnie and Ada Dennis, Tonya and Jamie of Culpeper, Brenda Hitt of Amissville, Rose Smith, Jason and Matthew of Warrenton, Steve and Linda Dennis, Chris, Candy and Anthony, Holly and Bryant Welch, Katie and Emily, Larry and Shelby Welch, Vickie Miller and Ericka and Brenda Sutphin.
The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will have Homecoming Services on Sunday, Sept. 23 at 11:15 a.m.
The guest speaker for the worship service will be Rev. James Grimmer, former pastor of the Rappahannock Charge.
The service will be followed with a covered dish dinner at the fire hall.
The Administrative Board of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church met Monday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McCulloch. Others present were Rev. Merlin Shorb, Mr. and Mrs. John Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Moe Walker, Mr. and Mrs. M.H. Brady, Mrs. Doug Bywaters and Mr. Jack Curtis.
Nikki Calisto was a flower girl for her uncle Rodney Calisto’s wedding to Sharon Gough at St. Michael’s Catholic Church at Takoma Park, Maryland on Friday.
