engineering study done, they looked into the issue and were informed that an engineering study would cost between $4,000 and $6,000 and that a dechlorinator would cost about $1,500.
They wrote to the SWCB enclosing specifications for the dechlorinator and asked if they could skip the process of having the engineering study done and simply install the dechlorinator. They received no further notices of violation, but they did not get permission to proceed either.
When the new notice of violation came in this summer, Mr. Swindler placed a call to Jan Pickerell of the SWCB, but he reported he has not heard from her.
