Special education services are an integral part of the total educational offerings of the Rappahannock County Public Schools. A variety of programs service identified handicapped students.
A local special education advisory committee (LAC) meets during the year to advise the school division on the unmet needs in the education of handicapped children. The LAC is composed of parents and community members who assist others with questions about special education programs and procedures.
