A listing of the orchards, where consumers may pick apples directly from the tree or select apples already picked, is included in the 1990 Virginia Apple Guide.
Also available from the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is the guide to pickyour-own grapes. Virginia vineyards offer a variety of grapes, excellent for eating and for making juices or wines.
