Santa to visit Flint Hill
The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company hosts its annual Breakfast with Santa, 8 a.m.-11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 at the Fire Hall in Flint Hill.
The menu includes scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, biscuits, baked apples, sausage gravy and drinks. The cost is $5 for adults, $3 kids 12 and under.
A 25-inch color TV and a Redskins theme child's bedroom set will be raffled off. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5, contact any company member or local merchants.
Extension offers ski package
The Rappahannock Extension Office is taking registration for a ski weekend at Cherokee-Linden, Jan. 24-26. Youths ages 13-19 are el igible, and the cost is only $80. Registration is due at the Extension Office on Gay Street in Washington, Va. by Jan. 17. Call 675-3619 for more information.
