The play, “A Candle in the Window” will be presented.
A candlelighting ceremony entitled "The Light of the World is Jesus,” will be performed.
Also recitations and Christmas songs will be included in the program which is directed by John Dodson.
Pastor Wayne Richards and his. congregation extend their invitation to the public.
Mount Lebanon Baptist Church
“Celebrate the Child,” under the direction of Debra Gregg, is the Christmas Cantata, being sung by the Mount Lebanon Baptist Church Choir at the 11 o’clock service, on Sunday, Dec. 22.
“Christmas in the Castle” under the direction of Donna Whitt, is the program being given by the children’s choir at the same church at 7 p.m. on Dec. 22. A Christmas party for the children will follow the performance and the usual red suited visitor is expected. Mount Lebanon Church is located on U.S. 522 at Scrabble. All are welcome.
Living nativity
The living nativity sponsored by the United Methodist Churches of the County will be held in the Wagner’s red shed on U.S. 211, Washington from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21.
