Cable TV will be coming to parts of Rappahannock.
The Board of Supervisors and the Washington Town Council both passed motions approving the franchise agreement with Adelphia Communications following public hearings Monday night.
Among the supervisors the motion passed 4 to 1, with Robert Anderson, representing StonewallHawthom District, voting against the measure because it won’t serve viewers in his district. The five members of the Town Council present for the hearing all voted for the franchise agreement. All residences in the town will be offered service.
