Donald Crawford
Donald Manley Crawford, 85, of Washington and Toms River, N.J., died Wednesday, Dec. 18 in Toms River.
Mr. Crawford was bom in Providence, Rhode Island and was married 51 years to the late Lillian Mae Crawford who passed away in 1982.
He was a 1929 graduate of Boston University, worked 40 years for Prudential Insurance Company in Newark, N.J. where he was an administrative assistant in the group insurance division, he was a Red Cross first aide instructor, a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserve Quartermaster Corp.
Mr. Crawford was a member of Red Bank United Methodist Church in N.J. and an active participant in Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington. For many years he was a member of the Red Bank Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad in Red Bank.
He is survived by three children; Dawn Fisher of Washington, Joyce Cittadino of Toms River and John Crawford of Belcamp, Md.; 11 grandchileren and 14 great-grand
