Child care
grants offered
The Commonwealth of Virginia has initiated a new scholarship program designed especially for child care providers. Twenty community colleges will offer, starting this fall, a “foundation course” in early childhood development.
Child care providers who are working in a registered, licensed or approved setting are eligible to receive the award of a tuition grant for the course.
Lord Fairfax Community College in Middletown is among the participating colleges.
