Rappahannock County has many outstanding resources close by. The Rappahannock Library First Friday Series will focus on some of them in its next program at 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3.
An anticipated speaker will be Lee Capps of the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational, Retreat, Conference and Camping Center near Chester Gap. Purposes of the 4-H Center include providing summer camps for the region, hosting Camp Fantastic and other conferences. It is a private, non-profit but publicly assisted organization.
