SHARE to hold Delivery Day
The December Delivery Day for the SHARE program is 10 a.m.-11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 at the Washington Baptist Church. Participants should pick up their groceries at that time.
A donation of not more than $1 is requested to help defer the cost of gasoline for the two men who drive to delivery the groceries each month.
Participants should also bring their community service vouchers and $13 in cash or food stamps to sign up for January. Call 675-3619 for more information.
The Grinch returns Dec. 19
For one night only, Dec. 19, the village of Marshall will become Who-ville as the Grinch attempts to steal Christmas right out from under their noses.
The public is invited to attend the roving outdoor presentation, which will take place at four locations in Marshall. Follow the Grinch from site to site, bundle up and bring lots of Christmas spirit.
The performance starts at 7 p.m. in the Old Manor House on Main Street (Route 55) next to Marshall Manor (the temporary site of Wakefield School).

Buffet breakfast scheduled
A buffet breakfast to benefit the Washington Volunteer Fire Department will be from 7 a.m.-11 a.m. Dec. 21 in the fire hall. Santa Claus will be in attendance.
The menu includes sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, biscuits, sausage gravy, pancakes, hash browns, baked apples, coffee, juice and drinks.
Santa will arrive at 8:30 a.m. on his sleigh, and kids will be able to ride the sleigh.
Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for kids 12 and under.
