Included with the franchise agreement are a map of the service area and a rate schedule. Neither of these are fixed. The purpose of the “strand mapping” will be to determine more precisely the area that will get service. The rates are based on those currently charged. If rates go up in Front Royal before service gets to Rappahannock, Rappahannock’s rates will go up also.
The map shows service extended to Chester Gap, Flint Hill, Washington, Sperryville and Amissville. Some of the back roads around these villages will get service also, but
