Yale Russian Chorus performs
The Russians are eoming to Washington, Va. New Year's Day.
The Yale Russian Chorus, an a capella singing group that has toured the Soviet Union and Europe 12 times, boasts a repertoire of thousand-year-old Russian Orthodox Church hymns, folk songs, opera choruses and soldiers'songs.
The 20-member chorus will perform at 4 p.m. Jan. 1 in The Theatre at Washington, Va.
Advance reservations are suggested for the performance. Tickets are $8 general admission, $5 for students and seniors.
