Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with §58.1-3370 et seq., of the Code of Virginia, Circuit Court Judge W. Shore Robertson will interview all interested candidates for the 1992 Rappahannock County Board of Equalization at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 1992 at the Courthouse in Washington, VA
The Board of Equalization, consists of five persons otherwise qualified below, whose duty it shall be to hear and give consideration to such complaints of inequities in the recent general reassessment of real property in Rappahannock County. The Board shall be empowered to equalize or adjust such assessment through its review.
Persons interested in sitting on the Board of Equalization are required to be freeholders of Rappahannock County and must agree to attend and participate in a basic course of instruction given by the Department of Taxation. All interested persons are requested to submit a resume or letter outlining their qualifications, no later than Monday, January 6, 1992, to Judge Robertson, care of L. Diane Bruce, Clerk of the Circuit Court, P.O. Box 517, Washington, VA 22747, and to present themselves on Monday, January 13 for an interview with Judge Robertson.
