Panthers take 2nd

in district tourney

The Rappahannock High girls softball team gave up seven runs in the sixth inning of the Bull Run District Tournament’s championship game Friday, and that was all the Strasburg Rams needed to put it away, 10-5.

Rappahannock was ahead 5-3 going into the sixth, but three hits by the Rams and four errors by the Panthers provided the game’s margin. Strasburg scored their last five runs with two out.
