Swindler and Annabelle Swindler.
The Sperryville Bridge Club was entertained on Friday night at the home of Helen Brown.
Those playing in addition to Mrs. Brown were Dot Estes, Miriam Reeve, Celine Siira, Edna Metzinger, Cotton Miller, Eleanor Cordle and Lucy Ann Maeyer.
Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Reeve, Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Estes and Mrs. Siira.
Margaret Devers was a Sunday luncheon guest of Emma Swindler and Annabelle Swindler. They were celebrating Annabelle’s birthday.
CCWHY holds
workshop series
The Community Coalition Workshop for Healthy Youth (CCWHY) will hold a series of workshops relating to “Alcohol and Other Drug Awareness” in cooperation with Trooper G.T. Settle of the Virginia State Police.
The first will be held at 7:30 p.m. June 2 in the Washington Fire Hall.
