son of the late Carroll B. and Mary Clark Menefee.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen V. Menefee.
He is survived by three sons, William Lee Menefee, Bobby Franklin Menefee and John Daniel Menefee and a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Dorothy Alice) Switzer, all of Culpeper. He is also survived by a sister, Viola Atkins of Culpeper; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 25 at Found & Sons Chapel in Culpeper with Rev. Carl R. Menefee officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jake Tharpe, Jimmie Woodard, Barry Ross, Robert Jenkins, Branson Jenkins and Mike Jones.

Hugh Woodard
Hugh Clinton Woodard, 81, of Culpeper, died Sunday, May 24 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Woodard was bom May 8, 1911 in Rappahannock County, the son of the late Silas K. and Ellar V. Sisk Woodard.
He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and he was retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Virginia A. Woodard. He is also survived by eight nieces, two nephews, nine great-nieces; nine great-nephews and a sister-in-law Roberta Smith Woodard of Warrenton.
Mr. Woodard was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry K. Woodard and Garland Woodard and a sister Ivia Woodard.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 27 at Found & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Sandy Martin officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Jenkins Jr., Travis Fincham, Robert Coates, Billy Mills, McKinley Jenkins Jr,, Jimmy Sturgill, Tasker Woodard and Clinton Covington.
