Mr. Rose has won numerous awards from the Virginia Press Association since joining the Sentinel in January 1988.
He has illustrated one children’s book, “Learning to Slow Down and Pay Attention,” (Chesapeake Psychological Services) and his cartoons have been reprinted in the Washington Post National Weekly Edition and have been featured in the Best Editorial Cartoons of the Year 1991 and 1992 book collections.
