The First Colony Room offers “pristine and attentive service,” said Mr. Koneczny.

Dinner is served in the room Friday through Sunday with reservations and jackets requested.
Appetizers range in price from $3.50 to $5. Entrees, such as panfried breast of capon, toumedos Chesapeake and seafood en croute are served with complimentary sorbets and after-dinner cookies.
Across the hall, the public house offers a “public room,” a very casual dining room where diners can enjoy meals ranging in price from $10 to $12.50. Items include such things as country saltimbocca, filet mignon, grilled trout basted, poached salmon, surf and turf kabobs and crab cakes (seasonally).
The public room is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday for lunch and dinner, Sunday dinner only.
Inside the public room, nicknamed the “The Pub,” customers can drink a draft beer—one of the only draft beers in the county—and relax.
“I want the community to experience this room,” said the new proprietor, adding; “this is a place to go after work, after the fields, after a hard day.”
