In a plea agreement with the Commonwealth, Ms. Meredith pleaded guilty to one charge of credit card fraud and the other charge was dismissed. She was sentenced to two years in prison, one of which was suspended. The conditions of the suspension of her sentence say she must spend two years on supervised probation, pay restitution of $1,450 to Martin and Cheri Woodard in the amount of $35 a month, pay court costs of $460.50, and write a letter of apology to Mr. and Mrs. Woodard.

Jerome John Gray, 24, of Capitol Heights, Maryland, was in court on a charge of grand larceny. He was charged with purchasing two Sharpei dogs and supplies from Ylva Lindgren of Sperryville in May, 1994 for $1,581 with a check from a fictitious checking account.
