addition, it is not clear that the programs which are offered at Piedmont are all “state of the art.” If we can break even or save county money by bringing some of the voc-ed programs in house. 1 am in favor of studying its educational benefits including, more direct involvement of voc-ed students in the total school program including sports and clubs, opportunities for other students to participate in some of the vocational classes, and strengthening of core course material of benefit to all students.

2. In a shiall rural school teachers and students have a greater chance of working together in a way not found in city schools. Many truly outstanding teachers; great college preparation, strong in math, science and language.
3. At the elementary level, the association with whole language is probably the largest contributor to reading and writing failure. At the high school level, the lack of parental involvement was very depressing to me as a teacher.
4. Stricter school bus disciplinary actions. More power to state and local authorities for educational problems. Update Rappahannock in athletics.
5. Not unless all figures are shown to reveal that either it is cheaper or the same cost. We must include all equipment and machines, teacher salaries, building, and sewage. If Rappahannock pulls out of Piedmont, it may very well close. Then where are we?
