; Each of the Rappahannock Cross Country teams improved their records again last week, with both the boys’ and the girls' teams placing first in a five team meet.
The meet was held at Stonewall Jackson’s home course with Stonewall, Clarke County, Page County, and Manassas Park being the competition.
! In the boys’ race, the Panthers ran away with first place. All five of Rapp’s scoring runners placed in the top ten, with their score being 26. Stonewall Jackson was a distant second beating Page 53 to 56. Clarke plaiced fourth with 103 and Manassas Pafk finished with 134 points.
' Rapp Senior Mark Jenkins once again took the meet, this time with a time of 17:21. Eddie Sause, another senior, crossed the line second for Rapp and third overall. His brother Chris Sause was fourth overall, with Jennings Hobson (eighth) and Jesse Rogers (tenth) being Rapp’s fourth and fifth runners. Caleb Proper and Nile Watson, placing 20th and 23rd,
