October is Virginia Wine Month, and wineries are awaiting your visit to festivals like the Blue Ridge Heritage Wine Festival and other happenings at the wineries themselves.
From the setting of the festival, off the Shenandoah in Harmony Hollow, to the view from the glass-walled tasting room of the Loudoun Valley Vineyards that overlooks the spectacular Short Hill Mountains, Virginia wineries offer glorious sightseeing off the beaten path.
