Michael Thomas Wolfe will be having his Eagle Scout Ceremony at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14 at the Rappahannock County Elementary School.

Fun Fair Planned

Rappahannock Elementary PTO will be sponsoring their annual Halloween Fun Fair from 7-9 p.m. on Oct. 27 at the RCES auditorium. Still needed and greatly appreciated are bats/goblin decorations and volunteers. Tricks, treats, games, prizes and the haunted house is back this year. Fun for all ages and bring the kids. Mom's Morning Out

A new book discussion series will begin at 10 a.m. on Oct. 17 at Washington Baptist Church. The group will meet every other week. Babysitting is available. “Share tea and talk with your neighbor,” said a spokesperson. For more information call 675-3638 or 987-8137.

Booster Club To Meet

The Rappahannock County High School Athletic Booster Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 16 at the high school. All member are urged to attend and anyone wishing to join the club should come. There will be refreshments served after the meeting.

Ballet Classes To Begin

Creative movemenCclassical ballet classes will begin Thursday, Oct. 12 at the Community Center in Washington. Teacher, Kitty Keller who has danced with Last Minute Wood Company and teaches children at Spring Mountain School will run three classes for children. Preschool-K 2:45-3:15 p.m.; first and second grade 3:20-4 p.m. and 3rd-6th 4:05-5:50 p.m. Cost will be $30 for 6 classes. For more information call 987-9661.

Fall Pumpkin Festival Planned

Jordan River Farm will host a Fall Pumpkin Festival Saturdays and Sundays in October. The festival features a walk through the hay maze, hay wagon rides, feeding chickens and pumpkins for sale. Hours are 9 a.m. until dark. For more information call 636-9388.
