of those have enrolled in college while working. In Culpeper, of 76 enrolled, 35 have found jobs. In Madison and Orange Counties almost half who have signed up have found jobs. Here in Rappahannock County half of those who qualified for the program have either found jobs or have taken themselves off the welfare rolls entirely.
Altogether a very impressive series of accomplishments after only three months. Conservative estimates show that over the next five years the Governor's program will save taxpayers some $130 million. Del. Jay Katzen supported this concept from the beginning. He deserves to be reelected.
